Reception September Admission
Should you be interested in applying for Walkern Primary School, for a Reception September start then please contact the school office (01438 861285) for a tour or chat with the Head Teacher. For a September 2026 start, applications must be completed by January 15th 2026. Parent/carers will be notified of their child's school allocation on April 16th 2026. If you are successful in securing your child's place then you will hear from the school shortly afterwards with all the relevant information.
In-Year Admission
We currently have limited spaces in years 1-6. If you are interested in how we could support your child in their next educational steps then contact the school office (01438 861285) for a tour or conversation with the Head Teacher.
All applications must be made via Hertfordshire County Council.
